Recording With The Analog Alien FuzzBubble-45 Fuzz Face Pedal

FuzzBubble-45 fans…check this out!

This short video was recorded last fall, one week after the FuzzBubble-45 fuzz face was on the market. The artist in the studio that day was Long Island’s own Kevin McLeod. Kevin was back at Cloud 9 Recording to begin work on his second CD. The bass player on the session was Al Improta and the drummer was Joe Chirco.

During that session I showed Kevin the FuzzBubble-45 for the first time and he decided to try it out. Kevin liked it so much that he used it to record his guitar tracks that day. The amp was in another room but you could still hear the tone of the pedal come through – even on the little Flip camera I was using.

In this blog post I’ve also included a short segment of the current fuzzZone video featuring Kevin recording a mandolin part to one of his songs called “A Girl of Nineteen”. The mandolin Kevin is playing is a vintage 1924 Gibson A-Jr. from the Cloud 9 Recording collection. You can view the rest of this, as well as other fuzzZone videos by using the opt-in feature to the right or on the Analog Alien home page. We have members from all over the world, with more joining everyday!

Looking forward to seeing you in the fuzzZone!

Rock On!
